Friday, November 2 is the last day of the first quarter! All LATE, MISSING, or ABSENT work is due TUESDAY, OCTOBER 30 to be counted on the first quarter report card.

ATLANTIC SCIENCE - Element project due today. "Probing the Periodic Table" due today if not already finished in class. NO HW.
ATLANTIC & PACIFIC MATH - Worksheet: "Crazy for Cookies" - Students will find the range, median, mode, and mean for the sets of data. Numbers are round, so calculators should not be necessary for calculating the mean.

PACIFIC SCIENCE - 1. Work on final draft of Element Project. Fil in any gaps of information by staying after school Thursday to use the resources in the library. FINAL DRAFT DUE TUESDAY, OCTOBER 16.
PACIFIC and ATLANTIC MATH - Worksheet: Creating a Stem and Leaf Diagram and determining the range (the difference between the greatest and least piece of data), mode (the piece of data that occurs the most often), the median (the middle piece of data when pieces are ordered numerically), and the BONUS: mean (determined by dividing the sum of the data by the number of addends). The other side is creating a line plot and determining the same averages. DUE THURSDAY.
